I did it! Finally, I have made the conversion. I told no one it was coming, so don't be upset, blog readers. I kept my mouth shut and vowed to tell NO ONE about my decision to go brown today until I just couldn't contain myself yesterday and was left with no choice but to confess my big hair secret to a select group of randomly chosen people (my boss at 647, my mom, my roommate.)
So, here are the preliminary pics. I had to work tonight, so I've already begun to amass a throng of significant reactions...more on those tomorrow, for now, though, I want to see yours...

Wow! I actually REALLY like that, maybe even more than the blonde! It highlights your facial features well and makes your eye color stand out.
For six years I used to dye my hair blonde. I started at age 13 when I was in the middle of puberty and at my most awkward-looking. The blonde hair was the only glamorous thing about me at the time, and even once my face and body caught up, I hung on to that blonde hair like a crutch, because I was scared that I wouldn't look good without it. Finally, at 19 I made the move and dyed it dark. And surprisingly, I looked better, less washed-out. I've never looked back since!
It looks gorgeous. Your eyes absolutely pop, and you look very sleek and sophisticated.
I was a blonde for years, and it wasn't until I started dying my hair red - progressively darker and darker - that I realized how washed out and pallid I had always looked before. I will never go back.
fun. looks great. can't wait to see what colors are next? think of it like living life in a musical key. brown might be the key of A. but what color would the key of F# be? what would it feel like to live in the key of F#?
